Good morning Kora-lea! I had intended on reaching out to you this week anyhow, so thank you for getting back to me so quickly! It was an absolute honour and a privilege to have been invited to experience the inaugural 10talks. The evening in a nutshell for myself, was amazing, from the speakers, the content, and even the overall purpose and mission, truly amazing!! I especially enjoyed the opportunity to learn a bit about yourself and your story, as i feel i can relate on a similar level having endured the hardships that come along with drug addiction, and homelessness, as well as suffering through the challenges of bipolar disorder myself. throughout the years and struggles i’ve faced, and overcome, i’ve learned to harness my intuition and always trust my gut feeling, which for, in this situation is extremely exciting for me as i don’t believe for one second that we met by mistake at the inaugural 10talks last friday night. I know we only had a brief few seconds to chat that evening, and forgive me for acting like a star struck teenager who was fumbling my words, i was literally just overwhelmed at the discovery of someone and something, be it yourself, and the “Live Lifted” organization who shares almost an identical belief and vision as i myself do. I believe wholeheartedly in your vision, literally word for word as if i had recited myself as I was overcome by goosebumps and butterflies as I read the Live Lifted mission statement. I too believe that I have uncovered my purpose in life, a vision of my own that I can be passionate about and in turn make it my life’s work. This vision is something i’ve been searching for and working on, completely prepared to build from the ground up as I haven’t had much success in coming across an individual or organization who shares the same exact vision and passion, and then I was blessed to have been placed in the path of Kora-lea , Live Lifted, and 10talks. It’s in these pivotal milestones in my life i’m filled with gratitude for being aware of how my higher power performs miracles and further guides me to my potential. I’d love to say that i’m at a loss for words but in case you haven’t noticed i’m a talker lol! And when I became passionate about something I believe in, I tend to take it to the moon and back. My only regret from 10talks the other night was that I wish I had had more time to chat with you. I have a million questions, even more ideas, and an endless flow of passion and compassion for this humanitarian initiative. I know time is such a valuable commodity these days and I thank you for giving me a piece of yours. I very much would love the opportunity to get involved in whatever which way my help can be of service, perhaps a coffee meeting or something to that nature is in order in the near future. You have my phone number which is the best way of contacting me, and I hope you do, looking forward to it! Thanks again
sincerely Dustin Poburan
Live Lifted is an amazing organization. It's such an incredible idea to help people struggling with addiction and mental health issues. I also think its wonderful that we are ending world hunger. I'm so excited about joining the movement. It's nice to have found someone with the same hopes and dreams that I have. Kora-lea Vidal is such a kind hearted woman and I love her to pieces, she is like family to me. Stephan Greenidge is one of the greatest friends I've ever had.
I am so blessed to be a part of the humanitarian movement Live Lifted. Kora-lea Vidal has taken on a mentorship role in my life and I’m already noticing the impact she has on me. My dream is to be a song writer and she makes me believe in that dream as well as her own dream of ending world hunger. I feel LIFTED.
Join the movement and help others help themselves by giving love, hope, motivation, inspiration, the courage to over come addiction and mental illness. "Live Lifted"
